Do we have to pay a deposit for equipment and whose responsibility is it?

The Modem and Converter box are issued at no additional charge to customers

aboard Okinawa on a full tour of duty. TDY/TAD personnel are required to leave a $65 deposit

for modem and power supply, and a $75 deposit for cable box. Deposits are fully refundable upon cancellation of service.

The equipment becomes the responsibility of the customer who is receiving service.

Therefore, the customer should ensure that the equipment is never swapped with another customer and

remains in good condition. There is a $50 fee for each piece of damaged equipment.

When must the equipment be returned?

Equipment should be returned upon disconnection of service. If the disconnection is temporary (2 months or less for customers vacationing off island or TAD/TDY), then the equipment remains in the customer's possession and they are still responsible for it's safekeeping.
